How We Write

A short, honest note on where our content comes from and the rules we follow.

What this site is for

PeptideGHK exists to explain GHK, GHK-Cu, and copper peptides clearly, for people who want to understand the ingredient before they spend money on it. It is educational skincare content about cosmetic use and the way skin looks and feels. It is not medical advice, and it is not written by or for clinicians.

The rules we write by

A few principles shape every page. They are simple, and we would rather lose a dramatic headline than break one of them.

  • We use plain language and skip the hype. No miracle claims, no fear, no "this one ingredient changes everything."
  • We describe cosmetic use and appearance rather than promising specific outcomes, because that is what the science and the regulations actually support.
  • When a topic is uncertain, still being studied, or genuinely comes down to personal preference, we say so instead of papering over it.
  • We do not copy brand marketing. If we describe how a product works, we explain it in our own words.

Where the information comes from

Our explanations draw on cosmetic chemistry references, ingredient databases, and how these ingredients are commonly discussed in the skincare world. Ingredient names on labels follow the standard INCI naming you will see on real products, which is why we point out, for example, that GHK-Cu appears as Copper Tripeptide-1.

Keeping pages current

Skincare moves, and so does our understanding of it. Every guide shows a last-updated date near the top, and we revisit pages when there is a good reason to. If you find something that reads as out of date or simply wrong, we would genuinely like to know.

A reminder on medical advice

Nothing here should replace a conversation with a professional. If you have a skin condition, react easily, are pregnant, or are unsure whether an ingredient suits you, a dermatologist can give you an answer that is actually about your skin. Our copper peptides for skin guide has more on patch testing and starting slowly.
